Manston Garden Club

18th August from 8.00am at Manston Village Hall.

This will be our 3rd Annual Show and will hopefully be bigger and better than ever.

Judging will start at 11.00am and the Hall will re-open at 2.00pm for public viewing.

6th July 7.30 pm, weather permitting, we hope to have a barbeque in the grounds of Manston Village Hall. This will be a ticketed event at £2 each but some will be on sale on the evening

1st June Members will bring their plants for sale to each other and the general public to raise funds for the club. We hope for a good attendance and a fruitful evening.

4th May meeting includes a talk by Mr Webster on Dahlias

In our meeting on the 13th April ( to avoid Easter), Mr Waving is coming from Maidstone to give us a talk on Fuchsias.

All meetings (apart from the Show)  start at 7.30pm in Manston Village Hall and all are welcome

2nd March 2007 meeting includes a talk by Mrs Levy on plants and flowers including the sale of some of her plants. The Sunflower seeds for this years competition will be given out.

On 2nd February Don Wilks from Minster will be giving a talk on Orchids from his trip to Cyprus. Anyone is welcome to attend, the meeting starts at 7.30pm and will be held at Manston village hall.

Hoping to have the new site launched by Friday 12 Jan 07. New features include an upcoming event feature which is easily linked to news posts and can be seen at the top of the sidebar. The other key feature will be images pages which are linked to a Flickr account. This means that you too can have the latest images streamed onto your own webpage if you have one.

The forum has gone but you have the opportunity to comment on each and every piece of news that appears on the site as well as on most other pages. Your site builder as part of his ‘leave no man behind’ policy has transferring over all information from the previous site into this sites news archive. This means that you can reminisce on over a year of Manston Garden Club online.
