Manston Garden Club

4th January 2008 - AGM followed by a talk from Mr Don Wilks on Birds, Butterflies and Bluebells - Ok so AGM is delayed until Feb

7th December will be a social evening with food and wine provided, but everyone will have to work for their supper making wreaths and table decorations for our stall at the Christmas Fair the next day.

2nd November will be a talk by Selwyn Davies on flower arranging

5th October 2007 Now is the time to weigh those potatoes grown from seed given out earlier in the year - bound to be a fun night and someone will get grubby

Unfortunately Mrs Hughs is ill and will be unable to speak. Our able secretary Dawn has managed to get an alternative but we are not yet sure of the subject but it will be garden orientated

7th September 2007 Mrs Hughes will be giving a talk and demonstration on card making with an emphasis on Christmas and flowers.

We will also be announcing the winner of the Tallest Sunflower competition

3rd August Mr Dusty Miller will be giving tips and help with Showing in preparation for our Show on 18th August

18th August from 8.00am at Manston Village Hall.

This will be our 3rd Annual Show and will hopefully be bigger and better than ever.

Judging will start at 11.00am and the Hall will re-open at 2.00pm for public viewing.

6th July 7.30 pm, weather permitting, we hope to have a barbeque in the grounds of Manston Village Hall. This will be a ticketed event at £2 each but some will be on sale on the evening

1st June Members will bring their plants for sale to each other and the general public to raise funds for the club. We hope for a good attendance and a fruitful evening.
